University of California Santa Cruz Public Art Class creates
installation at the City Landfill.

The City of Santa Cruz has a Public Art ordinace providing 2% of all eligable Capital Improvement Projects to be alocated for Public Art. This Project was a collaboration between the City's Public Art Commitee, The UCSC Art Department and The City Landfill.The City is currently planning an Artist in Residence Program at the Landfill to be initiated in Summer of 2008
